Call for abstracts

- Guidelines -

Important Dates:

  • Submission deadline – may 19th 2024 - 11 pm
  • Notice of acceptance – june 19th 2024

 

Language:

All abstracts have to be written in English.

 

Abstract title:

30 words maximum.

 

Abstract body format:

 

  • 2500 characters maximum (times new roman 11, 2 cm margins,1.15 line spacing), exclusive of title, author(s) names, institutional affiliation(s) and references.
  • All submissions should be done through the congress website (see below for instructions)
  • Abstract can include text, tables, references (max 10), graphs (max 2) and images (max 2).
  • Up to 5 keywords
  • The whole document must not exceed one page

 

Contents should include the following structure:

> For Research

  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

> For Case Reports 

  • Introduction
  • Case introduction
  • Conclusions

 

Topics for presentation:

You will choose the category that best fits your abstract.

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
  • Diving
  • Apnea

 

 

 

CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON OUR WEBSITE

All participants must register on sciencesconf.org in order to:

- Register yourself and any accompanying person to the various events.

- Submit an abstract

To do this, simply click on the arrow next to "login" on the top rigth of the page and click on "create account". Fill out the account creation form and choose a username and password.

   
 

 

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

Be sure to be logged on the website

Then, go to "My submission" in the left column menu (under "My space"), and click on "submit an abstract":

- Copy your abstract title,


- Select "oral" or "poster" presentation (you could submit 2 abstracts: one for an oral and one for a poster), however, it will be up to the scientific committee to determine definitevely the mode of presentation: poster or oral communication. Nevertheless, authors can immediately opt for the poster option without the committee being able to modify this choice.


- Select a topic

- type keywords (max 5 keywords)

Page 2: Author(s)
- Add authors with the blue option "Add an author (+)" next to the title "Author(s)",
- You may add an affiliation by clicking below author's name "Add an affiliation...",
- You can edit or erase an author with the pen or the cross next to the name on the right hand side.

Page 3: File(s)
- Upload your abstract by clicking on "Parcourir..." to select the file and then "Upload" button. The file will be transformed in pdf.
- Check the pdf by clicking on the file. If necessary, you may erase the file by clicking on the cross on the right and you can then re-upload a file.
- Do not add supplementary files.

Page 4: Overview
- Check your submission before clicking on "Submit".
- If you would like to submit a second abstract, you need to start from the beginning again!

You will then receive an e-mail confirmation of your submission. Thank you!
